As a Sable City Books member, you are not just supporting a black and woman-owned business, you are supporting a MOVEMENT!

Sable City Books members receive the latest in e-news, exclusive contest announcements and special invitations to upcoming events.  Sable City Books members also receive members-only discounts on books and other items.

For 2009, Sable City Books will be focusing on two major programs:  Teen Scene and WakeUP.  Teen Scene, scheduled to launch Fall of 2009, is designed to get our young adults interested, excited, and just plain hype about reading. Where do we begin?  With what we know---Us! 

WakeUP is designed to bring our children and teens together with their incarcerated loved ones. Sable City Books members can donate books previously purchased through our website, to the WakeUP program.  While you are receiving store credit, Sable City's children and teens who wish to have books mailed to their loved ones will be able to do so via the WakeUP program.  WakeUP is scheduled to launch November 2009.
